COCA-COLA X EFOC BRAND & EXECUTIVE VISIBILITY

The Coca-Cola Company embraced the ESSENCE Festival of Culture 2022 (EFOC) renewed and refreshed after participating virtually in both 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. As the presenting sponsor of EFOC for 26 years (the longest-standing sponsorship of the festival), there was an opportunity to show up in a very intentional way for attendees and, most importantly, the community. We were tasked with securing media around executive visibility, the brand's presences, and impact within the community.

BLACK VOTERS MATTER
MEDIA RELATIONS & EXECUTIVE
VISIBILITY

Black Voters Matter Fund set a course to fight back against a deep history of voter suppression in the South to increase the power of Black voters as change agents to determine their own destiny and to ensure they have equal rights and access to a free and fair election. Using grassroots organizing and working closely with local partners on the ground in states throughout the South and Midwest, BVM was intentional about providing mutual aid, voter election and protection tactics and Black love and joy to counter the narrative. We were tasked with developing a strategic communications plan and securing media with a heartfelt community impact campaign. Both #WeGotThePower and #LetsDoItAgain were a series of power-building initiatives and events to provide Black voters with tools and support during the election season.

REBRANDING MALL WEST END IN ATLANTA'S HISTORIC WEST END

BRP Companies and The Prusik Group, two leading real estate development firms, unveiled their vision to redevelop the Mall West End, a historic shopping center located in Atlanta’s culturally rich and vibrant Historic West End neighborhood. Seeking to honor the legacy of the area while positioning the project as a beacon of modernity and community connection, they enlisted DT Communications for strategic brand development, specifically to craft a new name, logo, and website for the redevelopment.
